I don't find many newspapers from Merced, and I only have a few of this title. Inked stamp in the masthead done by the news agent who originally sold this newspaper. Never bound nor trimmed, some tears and roughness at margins and light browning.

Here is a great doublepage centerfold of Harper's Weekly newspaper dated July 12, 1884. This print is captioned: "The Democratic Convention at Chicago--Some Characteristic Features of the City" including several scenes. A beautiful item for display, measuring 16 by 22 inches. In great condition. This is not the complete issue, but rather 8 pages which includes the centerfold.
