LOS ANGELES EXAMINER, California, a trio of issues for Oct. 7, 8 & 9, 1945, each containing a portion of General J. Wainwright's story on his imprisonment & the mistakes that were made in the Philippines.
Each issue is the first section, generally good condition with a few very minor defects.

THE FRISCO WORLD, Hollandia, N.E.I., which was in Dutch New Guinea. Oct. 26, 1945 This was a single sheet, mimeographed "camp" newspaper put out by American military personnel stationed there. Printed in very small numbers and few likely survived. Chipping at the spine margin, otherwise good.
