The summer of 1776 was pregnant with politics due to the Bicentennial Celebration and the Political Conventions for the upcoming Presidential Election, so it is not surprising that much of this issue is politically themed. However, what is surprising is the emphasis on the historical background of America... and of New York in particular. There is too much to describe in this space, but the many photos provide a glimpse of what is present.
All of the other elements (ads, political cartoons, reviews of music, theater and The Arts, etc.) are included.
Complete in 128 pages, some pages with even toning, in overall good condition. See images for details.
