Inside includes: "Attack On Oswego - American Official Account" which is on the Battle of Fort Oswego, plus: "British Official Account" "The British Official Account" of the attack on Oswego; "Gun-Boat Battle" "From Lake Ontario" "From Lake Champlain" "From Canada" and "General Summary" of various war reports.
Four pages, 9 by 11 1/4 inches, archivally rejoined at the spine, various water stains.
This is a fascinating, short-lived newspaper, having begun in 1812 for the exclusive purpose of reporting on the War of 1812 (hence the title) with no advertisements. When the war ended, so did this newspaper.
