Nearly a full column on the front page is taken up with: "Official Account of the Capture of the Penguin" which was the last action of the War of 1812.
This report is the official letter from Capt. Biddle, commander of the American ship Hornet & is signed by him in type: J. Biddle. This naval battle was actually fought after the war was over.
Page 2 has over two columns taken up with: "Dartmoor Prison - Report of the Joint Commissioners". This was a British prison in which American prisoners during the War of 1812 were held.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some heavy foxing to pages 3 & 4, somewhat less to pages 1 & 2, otherwise good condition.
