October 21, 1812
FREEMAN'S JOURNAL & PHILADELPHIA MERCANTILE ADVERTISER, Oct. 21, 1812 The prime feature of this newspaper is the great, very displayable, and very large engraving of a heraldic eagle in the masthead with a wingspread of nearly 7 inches.
The balance of the front page is taken up with ads including eleven illustrated ships.
Although we once has several of this title, this is our last--at least for the moment.
Four pates, never-trimmed margins, rubbing at the front leaf horizontal fold causes some perforation. An old mend to page 2, otherwise in good condition.
