May 04, 1915
EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, May 4, 1915
* Pre-sinking of the RMS Lusitania warning ?
* German U-boats order - British ocean liner
The front page has a banner headline in red lettering: "SINK AMERICAN SHIPS, ALLEGED ORDER TO GERMAN SUBMARINES" with subhead. (see) Nice for display. The Lusitania would be attacked just 3 days later. Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper. Rare as such.
Complete with 16 pages, small library stamp within the masthead, irregular and some wear along the spine, generally nice.
