NEW YORK TIMES, Nov. 12, 1864

* Abraham Lincoln election results
* Jefferson Davis message

Over two columns on the front page are taken up with reports headed: "The Election" and "The Result In New York" "Union Majority in the State Over Eight Thousand" plus it continues with some election results from six other states as well, some quite brief.
The results from New York show a county by county tally, showing Lincoln as the winner: 65,309 against 56,103 for McClellan.
Over half of pg. 2 is taken up with: "Jeff. Davis's Message--A Review of the Situation of the Confederacy--Arming Negroes Condemned--Atlanta & Richmond not Vital Points" with the lengthy address signed in type: Jefferson Davis. Following this report is an item headed: "Arming The Slaves".
A doubly nice issue with some nice coverage of the Civil War as well, with ftpg. heads including: "The War In Tennessee" "Gen. Gillem Drives the Rebels to Bristol" "Reported Evacuation of Johnsonville Denied" "Sherman's Army In Motion" and more.
Eight pages, nice condition.
