November 23, 1910
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Nov. 23, 1910 (shown as 1901, but this was a printing error)
* Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen execution - wife's murder case
* 1st ever suspect to be captured w/ wireless telegraphy
* Victim Belle Elmore - Cora Henrietta Crippen
The front page has a one column heading: "CRIPPEN LOSES NERVE AT LAST MOMENT; DIES A WRECK" with subheads. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 10 pages, small library stamps within the masthead affecting headline, some small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
