* Kennedy tells Wallace to allow 2 blacks into University of Alabama
The top left of the front page has a 2 line heading: "President Urges Wallace to Shun Alabama Campus", with subheads for 2 separate articles: "Telegram Calls Governor a Threat to Order - Alabamian Adamant" & "Negroes Admission Due Today - U.S. Show of Force May Be Needed". Both of these articles continue on pg. 20. They would be admitted on this day.
The front page also has an article concerning the Atom Parley in Moscow and Kennedy's Peace Strategy.
