November 19, 1903
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Nov. 19, 1903

* Carrie Nation ejected from White House
* Temperance movement - pro-prohibition

The top of the front page has a three column headline: "MRS. NATION FIRED FROM WHITE HOUSE" with subhead. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 6 pages, small library stamps within the masthead, generally very nice.
Background (Wikipedia): She described herself as "a bulldog running along at the feet of Jesus, barking at what He doesn't like", and claimed a divine ordination to promote temperance by destroying bars.
