THE DETROIT NEWS--Third Extra, May 2, 1945 The front page has a screaming banner headline: German Radio Says: HITLER IS DEAD ! " with a large photo of Hitler inspecting the wreckage of a German town after an Allied raid. Also a small photo of: "The New Fuehrer" Admiral Karl Donenitz.
Five pages of this 8 page issue deal with Hitler, including a great doublepage photo montage of him.
Minimal rubbing at the central fold, even toning, two minor printing imperfections to the front page, good condition and extremely displayable.
