Page 2 has a notable report headed: "War with England!" stating: "A letter has been received in town from a Senator of the United States, dated May 28th, which says, The Committee of the Senate on Foreign Affairs have agreed unanimously [Mr. Lloyd being absent] to recommend a Declaration of War against---England."
Three weeks later this newspaper would report that war has officially been declared against England, initiating the War of 1812.
