The front page of the sport's section has a one column heading: "CUB FANS SCOUT YANKEES AS THEY TRIM SOX, 8 TO 1" with subhead and box scores. Also a two column photo showing Ruth crossing home after his monster hit. Lou Gehrig is coming to bat. Other related photo as well. (see) First report coverage on the very first time a player hit a ball out of Comiskey Park which was Babe Ruth. (took 17 years at the time) Great to have in this famous Chicago publication. Very rare as such.
Complete with 40 pages, light toning, a little margin wear, generally in good condition.
