Fine content on the  Mexican War with page 2 having 1 1/2 columns taken up with a lengthy & detailed report headed: "The Capture of Tabasco" "Extract of a Letter from an Officer on Board the U.S. Steamer Spitfire at Tabasco".
Page 3 has: "From Mexico" with reports on the Mexican War, and then followed by nearly a half column headed: "California" concerning the habitability of the territory, talking of its farmland, etc. One bit  notes: "...As it is now almost beyond a doubt that Monterey, on account of its good harbor & central position, will be the capital of California, building lots...have ...been in good demand..." and much more.
Four pages, very nice condition.
