THE WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Oct. 12, 1811 Inside has a report headed: "Revolutionary Pubic Papers - The Declaration By the Representatives of the United Colonies of North America, ...Setting Forth the Causes and Necessity of their Taking Up arms--July 6th 1775" which was one of the most historic & significant documents of the 18th century. This documents takes over 2 pages.
Inside includes: "Geography" which is descriptive of Louisiana, and the bkpg. has "A Proclamation" declaring an election in the Territory of Orleans.
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 3/4 inches, very nice condition.
As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
