ILLUSTRATED NEWS, New York, Feb. 5, 1853  The prime content in this issue is the quarter page print captioned: "Miner Of California Prospecting," which is a rare print of the California gold rush. There is related text as well. The front page has an illustration of: "Almeda De Paule, Havana". A halfpg. inside has a view of: "Montpelier, Vermont." and another halfpg. shows: "Crossing The Ice, On The Hudson River, At Albany".
Sixteen pages, light dirtiness in the margins, occasional foxing.
