LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, March 22, 1890  An inside page has a nice 5 by 7 inch illustration captioned: "Opening Of The Base-Ball Season.--Game Between The Chicago And Brooklyn Clubs On The Flagler Grounds, at St. Augustine, Fla." with a view of the grandstand and portions of the seating along the baselines, with a game in progress. There is a related article on another page headed "The Professionals In The South", noting in part: "...As it may be considered as settled that the leading clubs will heretofore resort annually to Florida..."
