HARPERS WEEKLY (Supplement), New York, June 2, 1877  This quite large sheet is a very detailed map titled: "The Cross and The Crescent - Harper's Pictorial Map of the Seat of the War in the East". More of a bird's-eye-view than a map, it shows from Bagdad to Warsaw to Vienna to the Greek Islands to the Caspian Sea and everything in between. A terrific over-view of this part of the world. It measures 23 by 31 inches and is in uncommonly nice condition. Typically such huge foldouts are damaged due to use.
