WESTERN LIBERAL, Lordsburg, New Mexico, Jan. 20, 1893

* Very rare title
* Hidalgo County

This would seem to be our last issue of this scarce title. Lordsburg was founded in 1880 along the Southern Pacific Railroad in southwest New Mexico, close to the Arizona border. Today the population is less than 3500. Nineteenth century issues are held by only one institution in the United States. This was printed 19 years before New Mexico became a state. Being a mining town at the time, there is much on: "Mining Matters"
Four pages with even browning and is somewhat pulpish with some margin wear but no text loss. Should be handled with care.
Category: The Old West

100% Authentic: Original printing, never a reproduction.
