A bold banner headline at the very top of the front page announces one of the most significant medical achievements of the 20th century: "POLIO VACCINE SAFE" with: "80-90% Effective; Seen Approaching 100%". Bellow the masthead is; "Salk Polio Vaccine Safe and Effective" and other related heads, plus a photo showing Dr. Jonas Salk with others.
A very displayable issue on this notable report. The complete first section (of 3) with pages 1-14. Some mends to the top of page 2 causes some visibility on the front page, otherwise nice.
