Page 2 has: "The Western Posts" which begins: "Those barriers of the United States are still retained by the British; and...have lately been strengthened by additional fortifications & troops..." (see). Also from Georgetown a significant report on the beginning of plans to develop the permanent site of the Federal Capital: "Last Friday arrived here from Mount Vernon, the President of the United States...set out to view the country adjacent to the river Patowmack in order to fix upon a proper situation for the Grand Columbian Federal City." (see).
Four pages, various foxing & some staining which does not deter readability, otherwise good.
