THE NEW YORK TIMES, July 26, 1933  This 36 page newspaper has one column headlines on page 2 that include: "URSCHEL'S CAPTORS MAINTAIN SILENCE" "Oklahoma's Wife Offers to Deal Directly Herself With His Kidnappers" and more. (see)

Tells of the recent kidnapping of wealthy business man Charles Urschel. Not known at the time, this was the work of George Machine Gun Kelly which would ultimately bring him down in the end.

Other news of the day throughout. Light browning, otherwise good.
