THE TICKLER, Philadelphia, Jan. 22, 1812 A curious paper which had a relatively short life, and as noted in the masthead: "By Toby Scratch'em" with an engraving of a switch tickling a dog (see).
The ftpg. is entirely taken up with ads. The bkpg. has an article which debates the value of creating a monument to George Washington.
Four pages, various spotted foxing, a tear to a blank spine margin on the back leaf, otherwise good. Although we once had many of this title, I believe this is our last.
