Here is a lot of 3 different issues of THE GENIUS OF LIBERTY newspaper
from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, a small town in the southwestern part of
the state. The issue dates are July 4, 1872, Feb. 26, 1874, and Dec.
27, 1877. Each issue is large folio size with 4 pages, never bound nor
trimmed, with a wealth of local & state news as well as many
advertisements throughout. Items in these issues include a front page
article on the Mardi Gras carnival parade in New Orleans, a front page
letter signed by B. Franklin from 1739, yet another front page letter
from him to Reverend George Whitfield signed: Benjamin Franklin, and so
much more. There is various dirtiness, mainly near the top of the
issues, and many folds with some holes or separation at the folds. Some
wear at the margins as well. An uncommon title from this small town.
