HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 8, 1876 (with "First Draft" Supplement)  Full front page Thomas Nast political cartoon entitled 'Why We Laugh'. A full page illustration 'Pro Patria - 1776'. Great full page bird's-eye-view of: 'St. Louis, Missouri.' is displayable. Doublepage centerfold 'The Centennial - Interior of the Main Building, Near the Music Stand, Looking East.' A 3/4 page Thomas Nast illustration 'The Dead Lock - And Now the Democratic Tiger Has Lost His Head.'
Supplement centerfold is a nice facsimile of the 'Declaration of Independence' with back page illustration showing: 'The Signing of the Declaration of Independence, 1776'.
Complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
