HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, October 17, 1868 The front page features a nice half-page illustration "The 'Boys in Blue' Marching Down Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, October 2, 1868" and a smaller "Mass Meeting of the 'Boys in Blue' in Front of Independence Hall, Philadelphia, October 1, 1868". Also inside is a nice full page 'Grand Procession of the Boys in Blue at Philadelphia' and 'Scenes In The Life of a Trapper' shows 13 scenes, 1 shooting a bear.  "Stoner's Life-Preserving Apparatus at Havre" article also features a half-page illustration "Experiments at Havre with the national Life-Preserving Apparatus of M. J. Stoner, of New York".  A quarter-page illustration of "Monumental Statue of Commodore Perry at Newport, Rhode Island". A  half-page illustration 'Engagement of Colonel Forsyth's Command with the Indians at Small Island' and a full page illustration 'The Country Church -- Before Services'.
Complete in sixteen pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
