Background: Directed and produced by Clive Donner, Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush is a quintessential 1968 British "Swinging Sixties" sex comedy based on Hunter Davies's 1965 novel, starring Barry Evans as Jamie McGregor, a frustrated teenager navigating the modern dating landscape in the new town of Stevenage. Heavily promoted in movie advertisement campaigns leading up to its premiere in American theaters in March 1968 following its UK debut, the film captured the era's shifting sexual ethics and vibrant youth culture through stylized fourth-wall-breaking monologues, co-starring Judy Geeson, Angela Scoular, Denholm Elliott, and Adrienne Posta, and featuring a memorable psychedelic pop soundtrack by Traffic and The Spencer Davis Group.
I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because there was really no reason to save it at the time.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Complete in 56 pages, tabloid-size, very nice condition.
