John Pierpont Morgan dying... America's financial titan...

Item # 727355 ·
THE DETROIT NEWS TRIBUNE, New York, NY, March 31, 1913

* John Pierpont Morgan dying (died on this day)
* Money magnate - financial titan

The front page has a three column headline: "J. PIERPONT MORGAN'S CONDITION CRITICAL, IS OFFICIAL REPORT", with subheads and a photo of Morgan.
Other news of the day is found throughout including some reporting on the great Dayton flood in Ohio.
Nice to have this report on the impending loss of John Pierpont Morgan. As America’s ultimate money magnate and financier, Morgan didn't just participate in the economy; he practically engineered it. This is the man who consolidated giants to form General Electric and U.S. Steel, and famously stepped in to single-handedly rescue the U.S. national economy on two separate occasions. Though he would pass away in Rome later this very day at age 75—leaving his massive fortune to his son and his legendary art collection to the Met—and this issue catches the world in that breathless, critical final hour.
Complete in 14 pages, even toning with a little margin wear, otherwise good. Should be handled with care.
