TOUS LES FRONTS, France, August 3, 1944  This is a fascinating & quite rare newspaper which, as noted in the upper left (translated) was "brought by allied air forces", and as noted in the upper right was from the: "Combined Supreme General Headquarters".
Keep in mind that France was occupied by the Nazis at this time, D-day happening less than 2 months prior and liberation not coming to Paris until August 25. This was a leaflet newspaper which was dropped by aircraft over occupied France to encourage the residents that liberation was coming and to provide allied-based news of the war rather than Nazi propaganda which was their norm. The headline translates to: "Our Armored Formations Are Already in Brittany".
Printed totally in French, single sheet, measures 9 by 13 inches and in great condition.
