Augusta National Golf Course opens...

THE DETROIT NEWS, Jan. 14, 1933 The bottom of page 16 has a very brief and discrete report which begins with: "The Augusta National Golf Course at Augusta, Ga., built after the ideas of Bobby Jones, was opened yesterday..." Unfortunate for the very discrete report here, but still a first report on the opening of the Augusta National Golf Club course, arguably the most famous golf course in the country.
Eighteen pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on high-quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. Very nice condition.
