THE LIBERATOR, Boston, April 15, 1859  This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by famed abolitionist publisher William Lloyd Garrison with a masthead engraving showing slaves being sold, then emancipated.
Articles include: "The Slave Case at Harrisburg" followed by: "Proceedings in the Fugitive Slave Case, being that of fugitive slave Daniel Webster, about whom various reports are found on the internet. This reporting is quite extensive.
Other articles include: "Slave-Hunting In New York".
Four pages, binding slits at the blank spine, good condition.
