NEW YORK TRIBUNE, March 6, 1865  Beginning on the front page is a report of the inauguration proceedings for Abraham Lincoln with column headlines: "INAUGURATION DAY" "The Out-Door Proceedings" "Scene In The Senate" "The Inaugural Addresses of 1861 and 1865" taking the entire last column & carrying over half of the back page.
There are also subheads including: "Inaugural Address" which includes the famous phrase: "...with malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right..." and "The Oath Administered" and "Inaugural of 1861" which has the text of his first inaugural address; all of this taking over 3 columns.
The top of the front page also has: "GLORIOUS NEWS!" "The Reported Defeat & Capture of Early" "The Fall of Chancellorsville" "Lee and Grant Playing for Lynchburg" and more.
Eight pages, archival strengthening at the blank spine, very nice condition.
