"Death of Commodore Perry" introduces the announcement with: "The following account of the death of one of our most distinguished Naval Heroes is copied from a Postscript...It will be read with painful and melancholy interest:" with the message headed: "Painful Intelligence" which is yet another introduction which is headed: "HIGHLY IMPORTANT, The Hero of Lake Erie, the Gallant OLIVER H. PERRY is no more!!..." with further details.
Four pages, very nice condition.
