Wilkinson to the Secretary of War" which is much on his failed efforts against Montreal and the battle at Chrysler's Farm. Reports on this campaign continue on page 2 with a letter from Wilkinson to General Hampton, with his response signed: W. Hampton.
 At this battle the British defeated a much larger American invasion force, prompting the U.S. to abandon the St. Lawrence campaign & its plan to capture Montreal.
