Near the bottom of the front page is a two column heading: "Bodies of 4 Missionaries Sighted in Ecuador Jungle" (see images) This group of missionaries were trying to establish friendly contact with Auca tribe in Ecuador. This is the event which inspired the documentary "End of the Spear" and the book, "Through Gates of Splendor", by Elizabeth Elliot.
Complete with 40 pages, light toning at the margins, generally very nice.
