Debating the benefits of adding Louisiana and Florida to the United States...

Item # 713013 ·
WINDSOR FEDERAL GAZETTE, Vermont, Oct. 11 and 18, 1803  This is a pair of consecutive issues containing debate number VI headed: "A Comparative View of the Disadvantages & Benefits which Would Probably Accrue to the United States from an Enlargement of Their Territorial Limits by the Purchases of Either LOUISIANA or the FLORIDAS". This essay takes over a full front page column on both issues.
Both are complete in four pages, never bound nor trimmed, good condition.

A quite scarce title as it existed from just 1801 thru 1804. Aside from a recent purchase we have not had any issues of this title to offer in our 50+ years.
