THE STAR, Island of Guernsey (in the English Channel), Nov. 28, 1941
- German occupation publication
- Attack on Pearl Harbor close
A very curious issue, as Guernsey, an English-speaking island, was occupied by the Germans during WWII so all the news was pro-Nazi.
Among the front page reports are: "Another British Naval Reverse in Channel Night Fight" "Destroyer Sunk in Mediterranean, 91 Aircraft Lost in Week" "Unconquered by the Enemy" "Italians & Germans Inflict Heavy Losses on British Troops & Tanks" "Roosevelt Asks For New Sacrifices" and more.
More war-related content inside.
