GARBLE, September, 1944 This was a World War II military newspaper printed by the 68th AACS Group. This was a unit within the Army Air Corps (later the United States Air Force) called the "Air Airways and Communications Service" (AACS), which was responsible for managing air traffic control and communications during the war, essentially acting as the air traffic control system for military aircraft across various theaters of operation.
Like similar WWII era military newspapers, it has a mix of international news, military reports, some cartoons, etc. A full page features a photo of "Ann Baxter....Columbia Pictures. Anybody's Pin-Up Girl For Any Month".
