THE WEEKLY HERALD, March 4, 1865 The front page is dominated by a huge & very detailed Civil War map headed: "THE SEAT OF WAR. The Whole Theatre of the Operations of Grant, Sherman, Schofield, Lee, Johnston, Bragg, Beauregard and Hardee."
Among the front page column heads: "WILMINGTON" "Our Troops In Possession of the City" "Men, Women & Children United in Welcoming Their Deliverers" "Official Dispatches from the Fleet & Army". Much more inside as shown in photos.
