Mott describes them: "Most of the weeklies were low-priced, quarto in size, and designed for entertainment; frequently they combined politics and news with literature. Moreover, they were quite free in the matter of helping themselves to whatever crumbs might fall from other literary tables, and thus became highly eclectic."
Eight pages, 9 by 10 3/4 inches, nice condition.
