George Washington signs a military act...
COLUMBIAN CENTINEL, Boston, April 22, 1795 Taking over half of the front page is: "An Act for Continuing & Regulating the Military Establishment of the United States..." which is signed in script type by the President: Go. Washington.
Four pages, somewhat 2nd rate condition with archival repairs at the right side and at several margins, but fortunately not affecting the Washington content. This issue is, curiously, a bit fragile despite the age.
Item from our most recent catalog - #371 - released for October, 2026
