THE EXAMINER, Louisville, Kentucky, Oct. 27, 1849 The front page has: "Illustration of American Slavery - Slave Auction in New Orleans" whch consumes most of a column with one of the best & most descriptive articles we have seen of a slave auction.
Page 2 has nearly half a column on: "The State of Deseret" and: "The Mormon City of Salt Lake", the former being very descriptive of Salt Lake City, and the latter concerning the Mormons who recently moved there.
Four pages, small binding holes at the blank spine margin, small wear hole at a front leaf fold juncture, a bit of fold foxing to the front page only.
