YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC, Washington, June 24, 2035  A futuristic newspaper--always fascinating reading. This is presumed to be the 2nd section of the daily newspaper, with its own masthead above which is printed: "Why Wait Another 75 Years? Here's Peek Into 2035!"
This issue was actually printed in 1960, but all the reports--including the advertisements--are written as would be supposed in 2035. A front page report explains this interesting edition.
Front page headlines include: "Yakima Spaceport Gets Moon Flights" "Puerto Rico 54th Star On U.S. Flag" "City Already Begins Plains For 20345" and more.
An interesting issue to hang on to for just a few more years. And compare to what life in 2035 will be for real.
