CATSKILL PACKET & WESTERN MAIL, New York, March 14, 1795
- Very rare 18th century publication
- During George Washington's administration
Certainly one of the more elusive 18th century newspapers, existing under this title for less than 2 1/2 years. This is the first of this title we have offered in our 50+ years.
The front page & half of page 2 are taken up with reports from Congress when Washington was President.
Four pages, a 2 1/2 by 3 inch pieced was clipped from a back leaf lower corner, minor wear at the margins, good condition.
