The front page contains an Act of Congress, taking close to a full column of text, being: "An Act for Raising a Further sum of Money by additional Duties on certain Articles imported; & for other purposes." which is signed in script type: Go. Washington. This was one of just a few newspapers that used the script type for signatures of notable figures.
Four pages, damp staining in the lower left, some light rubbing near the top right which affects some words in the Act.
