The front page has an article headed: "THE BURDELL MURDER !!" "Complication Of The Mystery" "Mrs. Cunningham Re-Arrested" "A Fictitious Child-Birth" "Astounding Disclosures" and more.
Perhaps of more interest is the page 2 article: "Momonism--Disgusted 'Saints' ". The report begins: "We have another arrival from Mormondom. An emigrant train, containing a large number of women & children...has just reached this city after a wearisome journey of 60 days...The members of this company are, or rather were, professors of the Mormon faith, but they fled from the hold land pettily to escape from the relentless tyranny of the Brigham Young oligarchy..." with much more.
