THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Aug. 25, 1785 Page 4 has most of a column headed: "American News" which is focused on the concern: "...That it has been considered & lamented as a fundamental defect in the constitution of Congress, that a full &* entire power over the commerce of the United States has not been given to that body...", a concern of the merchants of Philadelphia.
