THE NATIONAL REGISTER, Washington, Dec. 28, 1816  An uncommon title that existed from March 2, 1816 thru Dec. 7, 1820. As the photos show the format was very much like the more popular 'Niles Weekly Register' which began in 1811, but not remotely as successful.
Politics of the day seems to consume the issue although there are occasional bits of nonpolitical items.
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, scattered foxing, good condition.
