Save for a few ads on the back side the entire issue is taken up with the: "MESSAGE Of the President of the United States to both Houses of Congress, transmitting copies of the Ordinance & Other Documents & his Proclamation in Relation to South Carolina", signed at its conclusion: Andrew Jackson.
A very historic document on the Nullification Crisis, which was a political crisis in 1832–33 that involved a confrontation between South Carolina and the federal government. It ensued after South Carolina declared that the federal Tariffs of 1828 and 1832 were unconstitutional and therefore null and void within the sovereign boundaries of the state.
Complete as a complete single sheet, printed on tissue paper, very nice, clean condition.
